Veritas was in a few days ago and they basically said that version 3.4 has
some improved gui interfaces/wizards for help in setting things up.  There
is also added support for Windows2000 and other minor things.

As far as the motif interface..still there.
Different levels of security(for operators/admins) will not be available
until 4.0 Q400??, and calendar based scheduling is not due until 4.1 Q301 (
I may have these backwards )

But from what I have read and seen, I do not feel that there is a need to go
from 3.2 to 3.4, unless you need the windows2000 support.

There's something that HINTS at it in the verbage.  Search for schedule in 
the doc.  But it sure doesn't scream "calendar based scheduling!!!!"
