Make sure you're running 8.0.2.3, as some minor bugs related to jobsdb should 
have been fixed in that one.

If the problem persists, you might want to talk to EMC support, as this is 
clearly a bug, and there might already be a patch for it.

running Solaris 10, and upgraded from NW 7.6.1.

weird problem noticed after updating to NW8.0.2. 

a group may run to completion, incomplete, or failed, yet save streams 
associated with the group continue to show active in NMC.  After a while, the 
device associated with the session will go blank, as the device gets allocated 
to another job, but the session will continue to persist in the monitoring/save 
sessions window, indefinitely.  this is extremely irritating as it makes 
monitoring actual drive contention related issues quite difficult... 

so far, the only way we've been able to clear the sessions is to restart the NW 
svcs.

anyone else notice this behavior?
