I think this is a great idea! Not only does it make the list more useful for 
your purposes, it will also make it more useful for the rest of us. As you 
point out, EMC is converging its backup products so a change in scope will 
happen automatically in the near future.

As for the name, it doesn't really matter; whatever name is chosen we'll be 
able to recognize it in e-mails and in the Listserv Web site. But Patti has a 
point about cryptic-ness and length. Maybe abbreviate her suggestion to 
EMC-DataProt-L?
