Well done.

I am not sure about the unability to mount the tapes. IMHO this is most likely
due to the setup type of the jukebox.
In general you can have both
  - a NDMP controlled SCSI jukebox (NW sends the command to the filer for
execution)
  - a SCSI jukebox with the drives attached to the filer (NW controls the
jukebox directly)

If possible, i would always use the NetWorker 'direct' method giving you full
control. That's the reason why i never used the other method.
Also make sure that you always specify the 'no rewind' device type.

One thing which you might consider for the future is to use NW's DSA (Data
Service Agent) capabilities which has been introduced with NW 7.2. Using one
simple switch in your nsrndmp_save command, NW will wrap the backup stream in
'standard NetWorker' format. The benefits are obvious:
  - there is no need for dedicated NDMP devices/media
  - the save streams are treated like any other client data
      - they can be lead to any storage node
      - they can be stored on any media (even disk media)
      - they can be scanned
      - they can be cloned
      - they can be multiplexed with other (not necessarily NDMP) save streams
  - It make your life much easier, in general.

However i have to admit that this is a network-based backup.
