[Networker] Networker cloning session stalled, waiting for adv_file disk
2013-07-08 16:11:35
Hello --
I am somewhat perplexed as to why my backups are stalling and hoping y'all
might have some ideas. The backups are stuck during a cloning and
consolidation session, with the media alert of ""waiting for adv_file disk
B1File.004.RO" and the device showing "reading, data". It has been sitting
there stuck since Friday night.
nsrmm shows:
adv_file disk B1File.004.RO mounted on rd=usbak101:/export/md3/_AF_readonly,
write protected
adv_file disk B1File.004 mounted on rd=usbak101:/export/md3/, write enabled
I tried unmounting and remounting, but it won't allow the unmount since its
status is currently reading.
GROUPS

SESSIONS
cloning session:30 of 171 save set(s) reading from B1File.004.RO 653 GB of
1959 GB
consolidation session: 1 save set(s) starting read of 1033 MB

PENDING
Fri 10:17:16 PM media alert: waiting for adv_file disk B1File.004.RO on usbak101
DEVICES
rd=usbak101:/export/md3/ adv_file B1File.004 B1File
writing, done
rd=usbak101:/export/md3/_AF_readonly adv_file B1File.004.RO B1File
reading, data
And df on usbak101 shows that /export/md3 is not out of space:
/dev/md3 4.5T 3.0T 1.6T 66% /export/md3
daemon.raw and messages logs are not giving me a whole lot of information,
other than it is waiting. Does anyone have any suggestions for what else to
look at?
Thanks for the help --
Kathy
