We just do it via email. Usually get next day response:
Send this to licensing AT emc DOT com
Licensing Support:
I need an authorization code for the following:
Update Enabler code: 3c28be-f3b881-c2cb06
Host Id: xxxxxxxxx

Subject: [Networker] Getting a NW 8 update enabler
The EMC licensing website is one of the most confusing things any of us
here have seen. I have a call into Licensing, but while I wait, maybe
somebody can point me at what should be an easy thing.
I upgraded 3 NW servers (Workgroup Edition) from 7.6.2 to 8.0.1.5 over the
weekend. So now I need to enter the update enabler for it. And we can't
figure out from the Licensing website how you do that. I have the hostids
I need; I even (for a change) have the LAC associated with these 3
servers. But we (3 of us here) see anything on the website that indicates
"HERE is where you get an update enabler to NW 8". Going to the "Download
Enabler Code" only gives me the enabler codes I already have, for this
hostid, no option (or even any indication) as to where to go instead..
So where do I go, and what do I put in, to get this NW 8 enabler code, for
each of my 3 hosts?
An extremely user-unfriendly website. I hate doing anything with
licensing, even buying new ones.
God help me in trying to rehost my main server, and it's 61 activations,
between clients, storage nodes, backup tiers, etc.
