I am hesitant to change the security settings that were set by the 
program. I have no way of knowing if those settings get checked by NW in 
some way, and it may complain (or worse) if things aren't as NW wants them 
to be ...

I mean, I doubt that's would cause any problem, but I haven't had time to 
test by changing one client, then seeing if the change affects backups, 
recovers, etc.
