Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with using the "generate_test_tape" program 
which is carried with the NetWorker storage node package LGTOnode ?

We have some very worrying intermittent "I/O errors" when we re-scan our backup 
tapes (perhaps related to having CDI switched on ?), and in an attempt to try 
and troubleshoort and replicate the problem I came across the 
generate_test_tape program. It looks very useful, and there is a manual page on 
it, but I can't find any examples on it, except for one in the manual page. Has 
anyone ever used this before ?

We are running NetWorker 7.6.3.3 on Solaris 10 sparc, with a T5240 as a backup 
server, and 8 x LTO-4 tape drives in an SL500 tape library.
