I was thinking that multiplexing could be an issue where it's spending so long 
writing a 500GB save set that it has staged a whole volume of 300GB during this 
time? But I probably don't understand multiplexing correctly.  If savesets are 
multiplexed in full one at a time, then this could not be the cause.
However, if multiplexing allows switching between different savesets then I 
could see this as an issue.
