Hi Tony,

We are running 8.0.0.6, we've had some issues with nsrexecd (seems to have a
memory leak) and nsrjobd (general stability under high load), our servers are
running on Solaris 10, with a mixture of storage nodes on Solaris 10 and win
2k8R2, as far as I can tell we have only experienced problems on the backup
servers. Overall I'm fairly happy with the upgrade, the benefits of client
direct to our DataDomains has been substantial, and support have been assisting
us well with the issues in the environment as they come up ...

In terms of whether you should upgrade, I think that will depend on your
environment, its complexity, current stability and size and how comfortable you
are with Networker.

Mat

Hi all,,,
We are running NW 7.6.1 and planning to upgrade to NW 8.
Is there any advancement or more features than 7.6.1?

Is the new release is stable and there is no major problems.
Please share your experiences.

Best regards
Tony
