Hi,

My read of the issue is actually NMC client to GST server, not GST server
to NSR Server. The 172 IP number below (not the real IP number) is a
system running the NMC GUI.

Your idea of the firewall update is a good one. Unfortunately, the site
I'm working with outsource their firewall, and it can take weeks to update
it. So we figured we'd see if there was another solution first.

Thanks Stan.

Sorry if this sounds obvious, but your best option is to put the NMC
server on the same side of the firewall as your NetWorker server unless
your firewall can be configured to never drop the port connections it
needs. I do not know of anything like NSR_KEEPALIVE_WAIT for NMC.
