I don't use a VTL but do have all the other servers/apps you mention as well as 
others. All backups to DD as ddboost devices. 98 - 99% success rate. >1500 
savesets per day
Old oracle versions are causing issues regarding ability to upgrade to V8 from 
V7.6 but that has to be overcome by the end of this year before they go out of 
support
Same with old versions of SQL and the ability to upgrade.
 
What exactly is the problem you are seeing?
