This is not a bug although EMC states this in an ETA
This is what one would call : works as designed

The problem for networker admins is: They should read what is automatically 
done and not depend on Microsoft like 'are you sure' ? questions

Those of you who have NetWorker 7.6.3.4 or earlier versions and use NMC to set 
up new Data Domain Boost devices ought to be careful. A bug in NMC will cause 
it to relabel an existing DD Boost device when setting up a new one and using 
the default option to label and mount the new device. EMC has published a 
hotfix for this issue.
