In regard to: [Networker] Is NetWorker really compatible with RHEL 6.2?,...:
Twice now, I've had NSRD die during the weekend full saves. The first
time was January 28, the second time was this morning.
Both times, I find the following in my /var/log/messages file:
kernel: nsrd[20060] general protection ip:5b8d26 sp:7fffa88b19b0 error:0
in nsrd (deleted)[400000+22d000]
abrt[25336]: file /usr/sbin/nsrd seems to be deleted
Is this something anyone else has seen?
Both of our NetWorker servers are running RHEL 6.2. Both are 7.6.2.5,
which has been pretty stable for us. We're current running the same
kernel you are.
I haven't seen the issue you're seeing. I don't have abrt installed on
either server, though. However, there have been no cores from nsrd saved
in /nsr/cores. The only cores I've seen from any of the daemons are from
nsrlcpd.
Is this a 64 bit system and are those 64 bit binaries?
