[Networker] LTO4 tape drive displaying red 3?

NetWorker Management Console version 3.4.Build.187
based on NetWorker version 7.4.Build.187

Getting an error off an LTO4 tape drive in an SL500 tape library - opening the 
library door the drive has a red 3 displayed on it.  Does anyone know what this 
means?  Type of error or otherwise?  And how to fix it?

BTW how are tape drives in an SL500 libray power cycled?
