Thanks for your replies guys!

Actually this is a new project and the customer would like to protect the
backup server over a geographical cluster.
The compatibility guide does mention the Veritas cluster version but does
not specify if it is supported on a geo-cluster where the NW database disk
is replicated to a secondary storage array.

I guess it is possible to create the necessary services in the cluster to
stop the replication and mount the file system on the secondary host and
restart the networker daemons. The main problem here is to know if it is
officially supported by EMC.

Hi,
I dont know mucch about that but can you not mout the file system to one
backup node as read only and backup from there ?
