[Networker] Data Domain Volume's Mode
2011-10-10 10:07:17
FYI...
One thing we found when creating a data domain devices using the networker "new
device wizard" is that the actual disk volume that's created has a "manual"
expiration mode. By having it in this mode none of your "recyclable" save sets
will be removed.
If you want your "recyclable" save sets to be removed from the device you will
have unmount the device and change its "mode" to recyclable.
Not sure if this is considered as a bug or not.... :-/
