I finally was able to upgrade my server and snodes to 7.6.2 over the
weekend. All went exactly as the upgrade procedure said (it was so smooth,
it was scary; I kept expecting *something* to not work right :-))
Anyway, last night I got this error on one of my snodes: (Win 2008 R2)
* dctrlts003:DISASTER_RECOVERY:\ 83452:save: Handling an abort while
processing Windows disaster recovery backup.
* <ERROR> : File E:\oldusers\ could not be opened and was not backed
up. (No such file or directory)
* <ERROR> : File E:\ could not be opened and was not backed up. (No
such file or directory)
dctrlts003: E:\ level=full, 589 GB 05:32:51 171865
files
<SNIP of other files it said it couldn't open>
<WARNING> : File E:\ could not be opened and was not backed up. (No such
file or directory)
Even though the error says "E:\" could not be opened, it sure looks like
it backed up close to 600G from it ... a listing of savesets shows E: on
the AFTD device, and also cloned to tape. So it did actually do it, even
tho that 1 line says it didn't.
So what is going on with this message, then? It seems to be incorrect,
since the backup did happen. It can't be showing that message because it
couldn't open files/folders further down the directory structure, could
it?
