On the server? We use Kaspersky; I should be able to tell it to exclude 
the NW server bin directory. But I never saw this problem before updating 
the client to Win2008, so I doubt the antivirus suddenly decided to have 
problems with only 1 client that it never had a problem with before ...

All already applied. Hasn't been a VSS update from MS in a couple years, 
at least.
