It may just work even if un supported.  We backed up nearly 300 7.2.1
Linux and Windows clients for a month, also some 7.2.2 and some 7.1
and 6.5, using 7.6.2 RA release.  Some of the windows clients were
running on 2008R2.  File and folder restores created identical ACLs
and MD5sums which for a time was good enough for us.
