hi all

im brandnew to the forums, even though i have been visiting for some time. im
also relatively new to Networker. i am trying to get as much as possible info
in as i can as i am a bit "dumped" on a site with 2 networker servers , 2 SL500
robots and some 130 servers/clients.

im managing, but i see some problems which are coming back every day, i have 3
groups which are still running when i come in in the morning.
the fact that they are running is because of this:

/usr/sbin/nsrindexd -a ADD CLIENT index for backup on CLIENT

i have this issues for about 5 to 6 clients. i usually have to nsr_shutdown
savegrp to get rid of this, but the problem is simply back
i have about 4 savesets that go well for this specific client and one that fails

i also have some other recurring problem and this is that the console databse
backup fails daily ( lgto_gst file) - well it doesnt exactly fail, it just
hangs in "waiting to run" and in command is "contacting client", so i have no
error - but i suppose this will be a config issue, seen as the file is on the
same server to which he backs up

any help appreciated, like i said, im just starting out, i downloaded all
manuals, but i cant always find all the answers in there - and i have more to
do here and than just the backup

take care

St.
