You can do everything with Microsoft tools except perhaps one or two things.
First, without networker or another corporate backup tool, you cannot keep a
track of all your wsb backups. You can set up a share used by all your windows
2008 R2 servers for your wsb backups but what if it's this share that goes down
?
You have no DRP option. If you loose the wsb backup, you loose everything. So,
copy the wsb to more than one location ? Time and storage consumming. And who
will do the versionning ?
Remember that by using only Microsoft tools, you have only a dos recovery
console with the simpliest network tools
Although it's a wsb backup, I think that it's usefull to use networker to
manage them.
