Hi,

We have 2 Networker servers running on 7.6SP1, 1 at production and 1 at DR site 
respectively.

Application data are backup to a EMC DMX4 SATA volume at the production site 
and then replicated to the DR site.
The data are always backup at production site and DR is a passive site not 
performing any backup at this moment.

At DR site, we merely perform data recovery by stopping the replication and 
then mounting the SATA volume at DR Networker server, re-scan in the indexes 
and perform the recovery from there.

We are going to extend the use of the Networker servers to perform OS backup 
for both Windows and Solaris host at both location to a volume on a different 
SAN storage box.

The requirement for this new OS backup plan is that the production and DR 
Networker servers must be able to backup all the hosts' OS at the 2 different 
location and must 
be able to integrate with the current backup arrangement. The data backup for 
each hosts OS need not be replicated to the remote site.

I am quite new to Networker and not sure if the above is achievable by letting 
the 2 Networker servers backup its own set of hosts at the 2 individual 
locations repsectively meaning the Production Networker server will backup its 
own hosts and the same for the DR Networker server.

Maybe some experts are able to generate some ideas on what can be done or 
provide some comments on the above solution.
