I'm having an odd problem. I have a storage node that is an AFTD device. I
have a clone job defined, but - due to a lack of tapes - I had to uncheck
the "Clone" attribute on the group. So it's writing solely to the AFTD
device, not cloning to tape. I'd like to manually clone this, to a
different storage node. I have the other storage node listed as a storage
node in the "Globals 2 of 2" section of the client definition. And I have
a tape of the proper pool mounted on the 2nd storage node. However, when
I go to manually clone (from the "savesets" section of the "Media" tab in
NMC. I choose the saveset, and right click and say clone. I choose my
pool. And it says

Unable to start clone on managed server

Right clicking and showing "Manual Clone History" shows the saveset, as if
it is cloning. Status says STARTED. But it never goes to the 2nd storage
node. I have to eventually click the button that says STOP SELECTED
OPERATION.

I haven't found anything in a search that explains this, or is applicable.
I see nothing in the log, or in any alert that tells me to mount a
volume. I get a whole lot of nothing, really. :-)

Any ideas why it's not working? Have I forgotten anything? Or am
misunderstanding something about what I want to do?
