Did a restart of the server and noticed the following in the messages file
after the patch install....

Enterprise Backup server: (info) License deletion has disabled feature
NetWorker Module for Microsoft Exchange Server on client nsa

nsradmin> print type:NSR client;Group: Exchange Cluster nightly backup
shows that the 3 bust clients don't have an entry for licensed applications:
but the two clients that work have :
licensed applications: NetWorker Module for Microsoft Exchange Server;
Nsradmin print type:nsr shows the correct number of licenses and clients
"module 11 NetWorker Module for Microsoft Exchange Server: licenses=5,
clients=5",
I'm tempted to delete one of the enablers and recreate it but don't want to
kill one of the exchange backups that is working.
Does anyone know of a way to show what enabler is tied to a specific client?
Thanks in advance
Andy

Subject: [Networker] : Strange problem with enabler after applying patch
Hi Guys
Need some help here, has anyone else seen this..
Server is running the Sun branded Networker version 7.4.3 ( on sparc ), applied
patch to take it to 7.4.4 ( I know, the migration to 7.5 or 7.6 is under way on
our dev box at the moment)
All working fine apart from 3 of the Exchange servers being backed up using the
Exchange module stopped working, the other 2 Exchange servers carried on
backing up as normal.
See the following in the daemon.raw log.
7341 11/04/10 09:34:50 2 0 0 1 28245 0 spock savegrp mb01:MSEXCH:IS failed.
7339 11/04/10 09:34:50 2 0 0 1 28245 0 spock savegrp mb01:MSEXCH:IS will retry
1 more time(s)

I do have the correct number of enablers.
Tried recreating the certs, even done a reinstall of the client and re-creation
of the client on the server end.
Have a call logged with Sun but no joy from them thus far.
Version of Exchange module is 5.1 on 2 of the "broken" servers and 5.0.1 on the
other. The two working ones are running 5.0.1.
Networker client software is 7.5.2 on 2 of the "broken" servers ( in
preparation for the upgrade) and 7.4.3 on the others.
Thanks in advance
Andy
