Will it work, yes...

In your example 7.5.2 NMC managing 7.5.3 servers should work. The most
important thing to do when considering this is reading the release notes
on the version upgrade. If there is something specific in there for NMC
then of course upgrade the NMC

Personally I would take the 15-20 minutes to upgrade the NMC as you have
15-20 minutes, the NMC upgrade DOES NOT require reboot.
