Checkpoint restarts might help with big filesystems but, we need a way
to split very large file systems up into multiple backup streams.

There you go! Having NetWorker configureably, automatically run multiple
savestreams in parallel from one filesystem, while still taking advantage
of the "ALL" saveset, is a feature that would benefit nearly every
NetWorker shop. Right now lots of sites are faced with having to use
clunky workarounds to back up their large filesystems using multiple
savestreams.

This feature has been requested many times and a preliminary version of
it was included in an older version of the product, but it apparently
wasn't ready for prime time and was removed.
