[Networker] How to erase a client from networker
2010-08-03 10:32:48
Hello,
I have the following problem:
I had to reinstall networker on a server. The reinstalation
went smoothly, but after that, I logged onto a client tried to re-add the
server (networker).
I have Networker for Windows (forgot to mention). Under the
"Configuration", under the "Local hosts", under the networker server name, I
have the clients.
I see the old client there, if I try to delete it, it says:
user administrator on machine networker.server.name is not on administrator
list.
If I look under the User groups, I can see the user
administrator in that list. If I try to add the client under the "Clients" I
get the following error on the step "Specify the Backup Configuration Type".
Unable to connect to host: Please check NetWorker Security setting and daemon
logs on the NetWorker client and Console server for more details".
My question is this: How can I completely erase that client
name from NetWorker so I can retry adding it?
