Hi Dave,
I believe this means Networker could not rotate the exchange save log properly
.... Networker appears to rotate the log of all Exchange backup activity.
When C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\applogs\nsrxchsv.raw reaches a pre-determined
size (or a period of time has elapsed, not sure which), it renames the current
log to something like nsrxchsv_100525_230003.raw (where the numbers represent
YYMMDD_HHMMSS date-time-stamp), and then creates a new empty nsrxchsv.raw log
that it continues to write to. I have a series of these raw log files in the
/applogs directory from running Exchange backups for a few years now... Not
sure if this is significant or not, just make sure you do have a writaeble log
file in the path /applogs/nsrxchsv.raw
One thing I've noticed, is whenever a new log file is generated, the /applogs
directory becomes un-readable by networked users due to security being re-set
on the directory. It's easy enough to edit the access back to what I need when
a problem occurs and I need to render and look at a log file to find out what
happened...

Last night I got the following message during my Exchange backup:

Unable to roll out old C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\applogs\nsrxchsv.raw,
continuing...

Does anyone have an idea what it means? Is it anything I need to be concerned
about?

Thanks, Dave
