I always do. :-) However, ssflags reports the state of the original
saveset. clflags will report the state of a clone instance, but it's not
always clear, IMO. For example, here an extract from an mminfo query of
one Netware client with two (cloned) volumes. Space has been inserted for
clarity:
# mminfo -ar
'ssid,client,name,totalsize,ssflags,clflags,pool,sumsize,sumflags' -q
"group=group1,client=clnt1" -t '3 days ago' -on
ssid client name total ssflags clflg pool size fl

1. That's a total of 781 GB for the backup itself (bupool), reported
within NMC as 782 GB, BTW. totalsize works out to 782 GB, too.
2. This is easier, since it's just a smaller, one-tape backup.
3. Total of 779 GB in the clone pool (clpool).
Does the sumflag 't' (tail) in the clone pool indicate it's complete? The
clone flags show nothing to the contrary, but... ?
If I look in the console (Media|Save Sets|Save Set List, appropriately
filtered), for SS2: it just says "browseable cloned on 06/27/10 22:18",
yada yada, which is almost 12 hours after the backup completed (according
to the sscomp value and what I saw in the daemon.log).
So, does the listing in the console indicate success and a completion
time?
...and 'validcopies' does indeed sound very handy, but we're on 7.5.1, not
7.6. It appears as if in 7.5.1, the invalid count was rolled into 'copies'
without offering the clarification of 'validcopies'...
Thanks!
