Hello,
Some time ago we upgraded our old Legato server (with SDLT320) to a new
machine (with LTO4) using the "official" mmrecover method.
We used a disk device for backup/recover the bootstrap as the new server
didn't have SCSI connections for the SDL320 drives.
Now, we want to reuse our old server but we have a backup (will expire
in February, 2012) we want to preserve, so we need to copy the data from
the SDL320 tapes to LTO4 tapes while maitaining the expiration date of
this data.
As we can't connect the SDLT320 tapes to the new server, how can we copy
this data to LTO4 tapes? (We can't use disk device because we don't have
enough space in the old server nor in the new server to hold 5 x 160GB
of data).
Any idea would be very appreciated.
