We just did upgrade from 744 to 76
The auto upgrade works in Windows from 745 and above

Hello All,
I have a test server running 7.5 SP2 on Solaris 10. I'm trying to use
the software distribution feature to update a Windows XP box running 7.4.4.
Setting up the Software Repository seemed to work fine, and showed no
errors. Then I followed the documentation in the 7.5 Installation Guide
to update the client. It seemed to be working, then the job locked up
and had to be killed. I've captured the process from the daemon.log, and
included it below.
It appears the process locked up, after the old client was removed, and
the server was complaining about RUSER and rsh:
6905 05/21/10 13:40:49 nsrjobd RUSER required for rsh
38272 05/21/10 13:40:49 nsrcpd Still waiting for the upgrade to
complete on client workstation.uwo.ca.
Note that after killing the job, I did find the old client had been
un-installed from the XP box. Here is the complete log. Has anyone done
this with a successful outcome?
