hi, i have reviewed the compatibility guides for the networker module for ms 
applications (NMM).The guide does not mention if the NMM is supported when the 
windows servers are VMs on VMware ESX servers. Does anyone know if the NMM 
support covers vmware vms?
 
Also, the NMM uses VSS and there is a choice of microsoft's VSS or a hardware 
vendors VSS such as the one for the EMC Symmetrix. If the windows servers are 
VMs on vmware datastores located on EMC storage is it possible to use the EMC 
VSS? 
 
Would the EMC VSS take a snapshot of the full EMC lun that the datastore is 
located on OR would the EMC VSS be capable of taking a snapshot of just the 
Windows disk (which is in fact a virtual hard disk)?
