In regard to: [Networker] How to skip a directory excluding a...:
I backup a windows client with saveset "all" and now I need a directive
for this case: Skip a whole filesystem (g:\) but one subdirectory
(g:\backup).
NetWorker Server is 7.2
Ooh, you should consider upgrading. The server software you're running
is well past end-of-support.
Something like
<< "g:\" >>
+skip: *
notskip: backup
Is this possible or do I need to add a second client entry with saveset
g:\backup?
I read about always but I still want to have the schedule been used (and
not a full backup everyday of g:\backup)
I can give you an approach to try, but you're going to need to experiment
to get the right syntax. I recommend you look closely at the
documentation in the back of the administrator guide, specifically you
want to look at the examples in the "man page" documentation for nsr(5).
There's an example in there that is pretty much what you want to do.
Try something like
<< "G:\" >>
+skip: *
<< "G:\backup" >>
forget
