Hello
It's a choice open to you.
You can use vms as real machine but you need as much licenses as with usual
machines.
You can use the vcb option. You can use the "physical host" option and install
only one license for all your vms.
Your possibilities for backup and restore will be impacted according to your
choices so you need first to decide a backup policy than a way to implement it.
For exemple, do you need a file level backup of your vm or a vm level backup is
enough ?
Be aware that the vcb proxy must alaways be a windows machine
