You can use the command "nsrim" to force NetWorker to do its routine that
will mark tapes as recycleable if you're short have recently marked a bunch
of save sets as recycleable.
I find I am stuck with tapes that are orphaned for one reason or another
with one or two savesets that just won't follow their proper expire time. I
have scripts that will run through these tapes and migrate data to other
tapes, can share if you need it, but its written for Unix.
