Excuse the silly question; I'm having a slow day, mentally (couple nice
spring-like days, and my allergies come roaring back with a vengeance ..).
In a couple weeks, I will be updating my NW 7.4.5 server and all storage
nodes (9 of them), from 7.4.5 to 7.5.2. Will I need an enabler code for
that upgrade? And if so, where do I get one?
One is needed, but (in theory) 7.5.2 will automatically enter it for you
if you forget. See the release notes. You can find the needed enabler
on page 4 of the "Technical Guidance" document on Powerlink.
I didn't test the new auto-entry feature, I entered the enabler before
going from 7.4.5 to 7.5.2. You will still need to permanently authorize
the enabler either before or after the update.
