we now have just the avamar.legato meta data going to the adv file and the 
networker indexes go to tape. The index is just a backup anyways for networker 
internal database.

This saves us a huge amount of space on the adv_file. and the only time you 
would need those indexes on tape is to recover an index if anything happens to 
the database.
