i have found the problem, we are busy to migrate to a new tape library
with 4 new storage node
this migration is made by consultancy and he made changes to the client
configuration to point to new storage node not yet configured
sorry for the disturbance

Do they have huge files? or multiple small files.
Also have you tried savegrp option with -vvvvv
This should give you more Idea where exactly is it getting hung.
Please also provide more information on this clients from daemon.raw.
