Totally new to Legato Networker (7.4.4) and need to know how to make some tapes

something here in order to re-use them?? Step by step will be nice for this

Thanks for your help. [Question]

Note that "100%" does not mean "full". It just means that Networker has managed to store as much data as at least the nominal capacity of the tape. Compression can do funny things to that number. For instance, the nominal capacity of my LTO-3 tapes is 400GB. So at 400GB written, its "100%", but with compression I actually get often more than 600GB. When writing to tape encounters the EOT marker, it will actually be marked as "full". Until then, it will keep writing to them.

You probably want to make sure that tapes get filled as quickly as possible so that the retention time of the data on that particular tape would expire around the same time - then you can easily recycle the tape.
