Yes - it normally accompanies manual deletion of savesets from a disk backup unit. I first noticed it in 7.5, got EMC to release a patch for it, and had mentioned it on the list/blogged about it: http://nsrd.wordpress.com/2009/04/25/751-changed-behavior-deleting-savesets-from-adv_file/ It's quite an annoying problem, and since on an average day I get quite a few hits on the relatively old article, it's something that still hits a lot of sites as they go to version(s) exhibiting the problem.
