Hey,

I want to know if it is possible to backup complete operating system (windows) in networker and restore without first installing os, maybe with an additional addon.
Think that, I have a corrupted os which has a critical role in a system and os
is not responding. Image backup can solve this problem but does networker
provide recovery for this scenario?

Actually, there are two options ASR and homebase.

. ASR is a feature of Windows installation which Networker can use for bare bone recovery. It usually works, but I have heard of machines which had problems with that. It comes for free.

. Homebase is an EMC product which integrates with Networker and can let you backup a system and do a bare bone recovery of it. You need to buy licenses for it and also setup a separate homebase server. I don't have any experience with it.
