A 2 cents question : Did you put savepnpc as
backup cmd for your client ?
Next, your \ must be \\ like in this working sample :
type: savepnpc;
precmd: "e:\\tamino_locations\\backup\\backup.cmd";
pstcmd: "echo bye";
timeout: "12:00:00";

Subject: [Networker] Savepnpc
Hi,
I am trying to backup our vcb machine daily and after the backup I need to
delete the backup folder on the client to free up some space. I have created
a file at \legato\res\groupname.res which has,
type: savepnpc;
precmd: echo "hello";
pstcmd: cmd.exe /c "C:\program files\legato\bin\script.cmd";
timeout: "11:00am";
and script has remove command. The problem is postjob doesnt run. It backups
but files stay in the disk. I tried removing timeout but didnt work also.
What is that timeout used for anyway? Clients backup to vcb at 4am and tape
backup starts at 12 pm. Can you help, thanks...
