Your vcb proxy server has to be a windows box.  The proxy server is
where the vmdk files are copied to, and backed up from.  In our
environment we have the vcb servers set up as storage nodes with their
own drives so the vcb backups will run faster over fiber.

We have a remote location that we wish to do VCB backups. They are only 
running Unix versions of Networker at this time.  Does VCB work with 
Networker on Unix? If so what is the minimum version?
