In regard to: [Networker] Command Line File Search, tkutil said (at 2:02pm...:

Is there another way to search for files in a backup that will output
files in one list much like seaching for files on your computer? When I
get file recovery requests that have vague information concering the
file to recover I would like to be able to sift through a list of
possible matches instead of the way networker user works.

ex. search for *filename*.xls

This was just discussed within the last 4-6 weeks, search the archives.
You want to focus on "nsrinfo", and in the most recent thread on how
to do this, someone posted a perl script, named something like
nsrsearch.pl, that helped to automate the search process.
