The 7.5 branch is still quite new and with a lot of new features, hence lots of possible new errors. The 7.4sp5 release hasn't had any new features and is purely a bugfix release. So I would expect that to be a more stable release. So if you don't need the new features in the 7.5 branch, why risk the new bugs?

No, I haven't upgraded -- but I'm looking at it.  Got some strange
issues since I installed 7.4.4.6 and not sure yet whether to push
resolution here or move the the "offical" release.
I'm curious - why not move to 7.5, instead of another SP revision of the 7.4 series? I'm still at 7.4SP2, and am thinking of moving to 7.5 (as that 
is the latest released version), instead of 7.4SP5.
