NW 7.4.2, on Win2003

I have a Win2003 cluster, that is a storage node. My boss is planning on
replacing each of the physical nodes of the cluster this weekend.
(luckily, I asked about it now, or I wouldn't have found out about it
until Monday ...)

Anyway, here is where I am confused. He is planning on failing over all
cluster resources to the 2nd node; removing node #1 from the cluster;
killing node #1. He will then rename a replacement machine to be the same
host name and IP as node #1, and add it to the cluster. And repeat the
process for the other node.

So, my question - he should install the NW 7.4.2 client software as a
storage node *after* he replaces and renames each node. That's usually
what I do, with regular (non-storage node) clients - install client
software after renaming the replacement hosts - and it all Just Works. But
I don't think I've ever done a storage node (all my storage nodes are AFTD
devices, BTW). But it should just work, right? No client ID issues, etc.
As long as I have the client already defined in NetWorker, I should be
able to install the NetWorker software on the new hardware with no issues,
presuming I keep the same host name and host IP.

Thoughts?
