  Thanks for stating this, today I did the 7.5.1 upgrade and it was a breeze
literally.  I was then able to do exactly as you state...  I started ticking
off Virtual Client on all my defunct servers, and give them my first ESX
node and voila, all their licenses were freed up, even their MSSQL licenses
and Exchange licenses got squished down to one instance for the ESX node.
All in all I freed up 36 licenses, this is great news for sites that have a
lot of defunct servers in their client pool and still need them browseable.

  I highly recommend the jump to 7.5.1 if you're on a 7.4.2 system
everything just works and seems to work better so far.  The improved
reporting on active sessions and the ability to probe a client for savesets
is a godsend.

  Does anyone know if its against RTU if we backup a client, and then switch
it to a virtual client as part of our server decomission strategy?
