Looks like I'm adding complexity to an already complex project...
In the server move that I spoke about in an earlier email, I am now upgrading
the OS as well. So I will be moving a 7.4.4 installation from a RHEL3 to a
RHEL4 server. In the DR Guide, I'm a little unclear about whether this can be
done with mmrecov or not:
It can be, but I honestly see no reason to go to the length of mmrecov
unless you want to practice your DR technique.
If you're keeping the same version of NetWorker and not doing something
like switch architecture, there's no reason why you can't just *carefully*
copy all of /nsr from the old system to the new system.
Just curious -- why are you moving to RHEL4, instead of RHEL5?
