I've only got the one tape-drive to play with. Parallelism is set for up to 12 
sessions. That helped a lot because smaller sessions get finished & "out of the 
way". I got my bonded nic's working, and the rate's gone up to about half what 
I was expecting, so I'm starting to suspect network-contention after all...
